Finally It’s Christmas

For months Hanson have had their fans on pins waiting for news of the Christmas album and tour.
Yesterday they shared the album release date on social media but it was taken down leaving fans staring into their eggnog for a little longer.

However, this afternoon they posted on their website, twitter, Facebook and Instagram announcing the release date for the music as 27th October and Tour dates in November and December.

The new music promises much for both joyful party celebrations and quiet moments spent pondering the message of Christmas.

On this album Hanson cover well known seasonal classics and delight their audience with new songs produced in the company of long time friend, Mark Hudson.

“The album’s original songs, like the title track and “’Til New Years Night” burst with celebratory energy, layered vocal arrangements calling to mind the Beach Boys and British invasion-era guitar riffs, while “Peace On Earth” highlights the band’s earnest lyrics and powerful melodies. The album is not without sentimentality, entirely, closing out with an intimate rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, with guitarist Isaac singing lead on the Judy Garland classic.”

There will be much excitement for this music and Hanson are well aware of that.
Fans have been asking for new Christmas music for many years and with the addition of live shows, this music is bound to bring glad tidings across the miles and through the seasons.
