Nikki Reed isn’t just a budding singer-songwriter—she’s also a bona fide music-video starlet. “The Twilight Saga” actress, who co-penned a soundtrack song for “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” with husband Paul McDonald, recently filmed a role in Hanson’s music video “Get the Girl Back,”
Nikki Reed was surprised to learn that both she and her good friend Kat Dennings ‘are massive Hanson fans’.
The actresses are very close, but Nikki only recently realised that they share a deep affinity for all things Hanson related.
Although Hanson has known Nikki for a few years, Kat recently reached out to the brothers via social media to tell them she’s a huge fan! When the idea for the “Get The Girl Back” music video came up, the band asked the actresses to be in it. “It was a very fun thing because they [Nikki and Kat] are genuine fans of our band,” Isaac Hanson tells AOL Music. “It also didn’t hurt that they’re actually friends.”

One time boy band heartthrobs Hanson are set to make a comeback with the release of a new music video for their upcoming album – and they have some pretty high profile faces joining them!
The brothers put out the call recently for extras to feature in the clip for their next single, which was shot in Hollywood on Sunday (6 January).
Joining those extras were Twilight hottie Nikki Reed and indie darling Kat Dennings from 2 Broke Girls!
