Hanson Head To Norway<\/h3>\n

With Danish ancestry it feels right that Hanson should spend a little extra time in Scandinavia.<\/p>\n

Not only that, but Hanson have a large contingent of scandinavian fans and some of those fans have given more than just a little to support their favourite band over time.<\/p>\n

In 2005, Hanson took Underneath to Sweden and Denmark but the last 12 years have been devoid of a Hanson concert in the north of Northern Europe. The excitement and expectations are running high with not just one but four Hanson appearances scheduled in Norway between the 25th and 30th of April this year.<\/p>\n

Three of these shows are at the We Love the 90’s\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>tour in Stavanger, Oslo and Bergen but the first date is a full Hanson show in Aalesund.<\/a><\/p>\n

Facebook groups and events have shared the excitement, and in the rest of this piece, Tove Jurs-Martinsen<\/strong> from Norway tells us how it feels to have Hanson on the horizon, along with giving helpful insight into the locations.<\/p>\n

Hanson to Norway<\/h4>\n

I was asked to write an article about Hanson finally coming to Norway, and I didn\u2019t even give it a second before I made up my mind. I was thrilled to be asked, and started writing this in my head right away.<\/p>\n

The moment I heard that Hanson is coming to Norway, I lost it. So many thoughts running through my head, like everything was in slow motion around me. So many feelings, so many things to plan.<\/p>\n

I had not been following their tour plans in a while, mostly because I was so sad I couldn\u2019t afford to travel to see them at that time, but I kept listening to their music.<\/p>\n

So, back to announcing Norway concerts. They were announcing they will play at the We Love The 90\u2019s festivals. They are coming to 3 cities, Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger. I live close to Oslo, so that\u2019s perfect!<\/p>\n

After that, I re-joined Hanson.net<\/a> and checked it out. The feeling when I saw Norway in their calendar was enormous! Pure joy!
\nIt took 20 years, but now it\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n

After a while they announced that they will play in \u00c5lesund as well, for a full(!) concert, now that\u2019s a dream!
\nI didn\u2019t see that coming, so of course I have to go there too. Plane tickets and hotel are booked, and I am so ready for a night with music and friends.<\/p>\n

I have never been there before, so it\u2019s going to be nice to see the place.<\/p>\n

This is what Hanson do, they bring together so many people who finds new friends, and we get to see new places. How much more can you ask for?<\/p>\n

If you are planning to go to one or more of the shows, I can tell you a little about the venues.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In \u00c5lesund they are playing at a venue called Terminalen.
\nIt\u2019s a small venue with room for about 600 people, so this will be an intimate concert compared to many other venues.
\nTerminalen is located by the docks in \u00c5lesund, and since this is a small city, you can walk to most places you need to go.
\nThere are several restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. They also have a mall if you want to go shopping.
\nThere are many things to do in \u00c5lesund, so I recommend you to check out Visitnorway.no<\/a>\u00a0and search for Aalesund. There are no lack of hotels either, so there is a good chance of finding a place to stay. Or you can rent a cottage if you want.<\/p>\n

After their \u00c5lesund concert it\u2019s time for We Love The 90\u2019s. They are playing at much bigger venues there, and if you want to get close to the stage you will need to purchase a Golden Circle ticket.<\/p>\n

The first stop on this tour is Stavanger. Another beautiful city with lots to do. You should grab a dinner at the dock when you\u2019re there.
\nTo get from the airport to the venue, you can either take the bus, or a taxi. The venue is a 15 minute drive from the airport.<\/p>\n

The second stop is Oslo. This city is a LOT bigger, and a lot of things to do. The airport is located outside of Oslo, so you will need to take the train to Oslo first, and take the bus to the venue. The bus from the venue back to the city drives all night, so don\u2019t worry about transportation.<\/p>\n

The last stop is Bergen. This city is not as huge as Oslo, and the venue is located 20 minutes by car from the airport, and is located outside of the city. The city centre is a 15 minute drive from the venue.
\nAs Stavanger, Bergen is a city with a charming dock area, and I highly recommend a stroll at the docks.<\/p>\n

If you wonder what to pack, I can tell you that the Norwegian spring can be a bit unstable. You can get all four seasons in one day, so be sure to bring a warm jacket. We are hoping for warm weather but no promises.<\/p>\n

And rest assured that we have no polar bears walking the streets.<\/p>\n
