The Hanson brothers are headed to Washington, D.C., to perform for the \u201cGrammys on the Hill\u201d awards, which brings musicians and politicians together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>It\u2019s referred to in the press release from The Recording Academy announcing the event as \u201cWashington\u2019s most interesting mix of music and politics.\u201d Interesting is a good word there, probably.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The event is set for Wednesday. The release did not say whether the event would be televised or video released at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In addition to Hanson, performers include Lady Antebellum (who plays the BOK Center on Friday. Read my preview <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulsaworld.com\/weekend\/cover_story\/lady-antebellum-singer-talks-about-new-album-golden-ahead-of\/article_e4bc60e1-a429-55a7-bbfc-e033546ae689.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>), Los Lonely Boys, Wesley Schultz of the Lumineers, Booker T. Jones, Dionne Warwick and Joy Williams of the Civil Wars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Lady Antebellum is set to receive The Recording Academy\u2019s Recording Artists\u2019 Coalition Award, and its performance will include backing from members of Congress, which kind of sounds like a \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d sketch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and Rep.
