So last Friday a box arrived at the station\u2026a BIG BOX\u2026.like big enough to put a head into it!!! \u00a0I was relieved\/excited to see it was from my boys, Hanson!!! \u00a0 What was in it\u2026check it out!<\/p>\n

What a great way to start off my father\u2019s Day weekend! \u00a0Some Mmmhops and the new CD before it even came out!! \u00a0The note alone was cool enough\u2026but then I put the CD in my car stereo and woah\u2026was treated to some awesome music!<\/p>\n

By far, Anthem, is the most sophisticated project to date! \u00a0Totally appropriate as the band celebrates it\u2019s 21st!!! Yes, Hanson have been at this for 21 years now as a group! \u00a0I was there back in the days of Mmm Bop and have been along for the ride ever since. \u00a0People will say what they want\u2026but to know the guys, understand what they stand for and the roots in which ground as well as bind them together\u2026how can you not LOVE Hanson!? \u00a0Considering the amount and level of success the guys have attained, I applaud there humility and true love and appreciation for the fans!<\/p>\n

Now\u2026onto ANTHEM!!!!<\/p>\n

\"Anthem_Cover_Final\"13 tracks of rock\/soul that will make you and your speakers smile!!! \u00a0I \u00a0can hear arena\u2019s singing every song, drowning out the boys on stage, underscoring the title of the album, Anthem! \u00a0\u201dFired Up\u201d the first track kicks it off with the energy and fun you come to expect from Hanson\u2026but cranks it up to 11! \u00a0\u201dI\u2019ve Got Soul\u201d the second cut blares the horns and funk that the boys have come to embrace\u2026and are completely unapologetic about it! I LOVE track 3!!! \u00a0\u201dYou Can\u2019t Stop Us\u201d, feels like a Lenny Kravitz song that screams the anthem \u201cYou Can\u2019t Stop Us\u201d\u2026and they are right, you can\u2019t! \u00a0Hanson is back and better than ever\u2026I almost wish this was the radio single! \u00a0Speaking of radio\u2026track 4 is the current single, \u201cGet The Girl Back\u201d\u2026Track 5, \u201cJuliet\u201d is a stand out track, in the way of the sound and feel. \u00a0\u201dJuliet\u201d feels like an Elton John or Billy Joel esque\u2019 song\u2026I just love this song!<\/p>\n

Other stand out tracks for me, \u201cFor Your Love\u201d and amazing love song, simple in it\u2019s delivery and reminiscent of a Jon Secada song. \u00a0\u201dCut Right Through Me\u201d, track 9, is INFECTIOUS! \u00a0You\u2019ll be singing the hook ALL DAY, be warned!!! \u00a0Track 10, \u201cScream And Be Free\u201d, you\u2019ll find yourself singing the \u201coh Oh Ooooh\u2019s\u201d\u2026this album is an ANTHEM!!!!<\/p>\n

The final 3 tracks, \u201cTragic Symphony\u201d, \u201cTonight\u201d and the (not so hidden track 21) \u201cSave Me From Myself\u201d wrap this up perfectly! \u00a0Showcasing each of the guys vocal talents as well as there incredible abilities musically.<\/p>\n

Hanson, the band is now 21. \u00a0The guys Zac, Taylor and Isaac have grown into incredible artists who know who they are and what Hanson the band is all about. \u00a0They remind me of musics \u201cSuperman\u201d, they stand for what\u2019s right and what they believe in. \u00a0Never out to cause harm\u2026out to help whenever they can. \u00a0The love I\u2019ve witnessed they have for the \u201cFanson\u2019s\u201d out there as well under scores the kind of men they are! \u00a0Speaking of being men\u2026they now have a BEER! \u00a0Mmmhops!!!<\/p>\n

Mmmhops\u2026was the perfect companion to my Father\u2019s Day Bbq!!! \u00a0Went down smooth and \u201cdid the trick\u201d!!! \u00a0Not sure when or where you\u2019ll be able to find these in your local liquor store\u2019s\u2026but get in there and tell them to order you some!!<\/p>\n

Like they say in track 3\u2026\u201dYou Can\u2019t Stop Us\u201d\u2026they are right..and we would never want to see them stop!!! \u00a0Get out there and pick this one up\u2026simply press play and let it roll!<\/p>\n
