Six days left before we finish mixing, and then all that is left is one day of mastering the album. Every day we start off by reviewing what we did the night before, making any last changes and then moving on to the next track on our list. Things have been going well for the last week, and it looks like we are going to stay on track and just finish on time.
We are finished with the recording on the new album, now it is just a matter of putting the finishing touches on as we Mix the new album for the next few weeks and then master. Each step in the process of making an album becomes slightly more refined. Writing, …
And so it begins once again. We are back in the studio again and working towards a finished album that should release the middle of 2013. Lots of irons in the fire now the music video for the first single is almost finished and with it the whole world will see the first glimpse of what this album looks and sounds like. We are finalizing the details for the on-sale of Back To The Island 2014 and assuming all goes as planned it will go on sale to all members some time the first or second week in February. I know it is early to be getting excited about next year’s vacation, but this year was awesome!
This last week was really special. We got to share a beautiful place and a lot of music with a few hundred amazing Hanson.net members from all over the world, during the Back To The Island destination concert event. Of course we all tried to relax between concerts, and from what we saw everyone who attended got plenty of their own r & r. It was amazing to see so many people from different parts of the world coming together for the week, and it inspired us further about the year we are planning which will be taking our tour to places far and wide.
