Musical brother Taylor Hanson is the latest celebrity to choose a baby name that’s reminiscent of another celebrity, when he and wife Natalie named their newborn son and fourth child Viggo Moriah. While actor Viggo Mortensen wasn’t the direct inspiration for the baby’s name, says Natalie Hanson, “He’s a great actor and a strong, handsome modern reference for the name.”
It’s a boy! Taylor Hanson, the middle brother of pop-rock group Hanson, and his wife Natalie Hanson welcomed their fourth child, a son named Viggo Moriah Hanson, on Tuesday, December 9th. The baby was born in Tulsa, Okla., weighing in at 8 lbs., 5 oz.
“Viggo is doing great. He is the perfect early Christmas gift,” the couple said. “We look forward to being home to enjoy the holidays with him and his very excited brothers and sister.”
The average fan arrives to a Hanson concert, enjoys the show, and heads back home, but what they may not notice are the six smiling faces on the sidelines or backstage rocking out to their dad’s music. The three Hanson brothers — Isaac, Taylor, and Zac – have packed up and hit the road for their Walk Around the World Tour and for the first time are taking their families along for the “adventure,” as Isaac’s wife Nikki jokingly calls it. “Because this is the first time with all the young ones, it’ll be really interesting,” laughs Isaac, 27, whose brood includes Nikki and their boys Clarke Everett, 18 ½ months, and James Monroe, 4 months on Saturday.
Another Hanson baby is on the way! Middle brother Taylor Hanson and his wife Natalie are expecting their fourth child, they confirm. Natalie, 24, is due this winter with a son, per their rep. Proud dad Taylor, 25, tells PEOPLE, “Each of our kids has made life richer and more exciting. We can’t wait for this guy to join the party.”
John Ira Shepherd Hanson may be only eight weeks old, but he’s already enjoyed a number of private performances from one of the famous Hanson brothers — it’s how he goes to sleep! Says dad Zac Hanson, 22, drummer for the band: “He’s heard a lot of original acapella dad — it’s Zac Hanson: The Solo Project!”
Guitarist Isaac Hanson, 27, and his wife, Nicole Dufresne Hanson, 24, have welcomed their second child, another boy. Son James Monroe Hanson arrived on Tuesday, July 1st in Tulsa, OK. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 11 oz.
Hanson drummer Zac Hanson, 22, and his wife Kate, 24, have welcomed their first child, a son. John Ira Shepherd Hanson arrived on Tuesday, May 27th in Tulsa, OK. Shepherd, as the baby will be called, weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz. Proud new dad Zac shared, “I am so overjoyed. There is not an audience or concert that could ever stand up to the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time.”
